WATER-BASED PRINTING INK COMPOSITION

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a water-based printing ink composition having excellent adherence to plastic films and suitability for laminating. CONSTITUTION:The ink composition, having suitability for laminating, contains as a binder a water-soluble or water-dispersible polyurethane resin which is terminated by a functional hydrazine group and contains ionic functional groups in an amount of 5-180 meq per 100g of the resin and up to 20wt.% polyoxyethylene units. This ink has excellent adherence and suitability for laminating when applied to either of polypropylene and polyester films treated with a corona discharge and used for soft packaging.
