<p>Silver-rich, gelatine-contg. photographic emulsions are obtd. by chemically ripening flocculated and washed silver halide after physical ripening, at a silver/gelatine ratio 3-30 g silver per g gelatine and a silver halide concn. 2.0-6.8 Mol/l, a pBr-value of 2.4-2.7 and pH value 6.5-7.5 after addition of Na2S2O3 and/or Na tetrathionate, K and/or NH4 rhodanide, as well as Au(as tetrachloroauric acid) at 30-60 degrees C for 1-5 hrs. and then diluting after stabilising or rapid cooling with an aq. soln. contg. gelatine or another high polymer.</p> |
