发明名称 TAPPET MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a strong, highly reliable ceramics-metal junction tappet material which will not be cracked and broken even if it suddenly receives heat shock and mechanical shock. CONSTITUTION:Using Si3N4-SiC-TiC, TiN and/or TiN particle dispersion complex ceramics whose volume ratio is Si3N4:SiC fine particles = 70 to 90 : 30 to 10 and Tic and/or TiN fine particle whose volume % is 0.1 to 1, a mixed phase comprising nitride, carbide, and oxide is formed on a junction boundary face by means of heat treatment and is shrinkage fit to metal 2 through brazlng material. Junction performance is improved by using strong and highly tough particle dispersion complex, which is excellent in wear and abrasion resistance, corrosion proof, and sliding performance, and heat-treating the non-junction face of this particle dispersion complex ceramics. Thus, a strong and highly reliable tappet material excellent can be obtained because of synergistic effect of junction with brazing material and burning caulking.
