<p>PURPOSE:To dispense with a DC-DC converter, reduce a cost and energy loss, by utilizing output voltage of a rectifying circuit as a dc power source of an inverter when a rotary electric machine is motor driven. CONSTITUTION:A rotary electric machine 11 is arranged on a turbocharger 7 and driven as a generator or a motor. A turbine generator 16 of a synchronized machine is driven by exhaust gas. An inverter 19 is connected to the rotary electric machine 11. A rectifying flat circuit 20 is connected to the turbine generator 16. Structure of the turbine generator 16 and the rotary electric machine 11 are so provided that generation voltage of the turbine generator 16 is larger than that of the rotary electric machine 11 when exhaust gas having same energy is flowed. Output voltage of the rectifying flat circuit 20 is utilized as dc power source of the inverter 19 when the rotary electric machine 11 is motor driven. A DC-DC converter is thus dispensed with, and energy loss is reduced.</p> |
