PURPOSE:To provide a remote lifting device for an underwater diffuser pipe, wherein the diffuser pipe can automatically be maintained at a certain depth of water even if a water level of lakes and marshes fluctuates, and the depth of water of the diffuser pipe can remotely be adjusted when required. CONSTITUTION:A diffuser pipe 2 attached to the opposite ends of a rope 7 and an underwater variable weight 9 are connected to pulleys 11 mounted to a floater 10 at a water level W.L. through the rope 7 so as to be vertically movable relative to each other, so that the weight of the weight 9 can be changed by feeding and discharging compressed air A by a remote operation.
