<p>PURPOSE:To reduce pressure variation in a propagation route and dispersion of pressure on demand side respectively by setting therelation among the length of pressure propagation route length in a common rail, and length of pressure branching route so that they satisfy specified equations. CONSTITUTION:In a pressure supply device such as an accumulating type fuel injection device, multiple fuel injection valves 3 to 3'' are connected to a common rail 2 through multiple injection valve side pipes 5 to 5'', and the common rail 2 is connected to a fuel pump 1 through a pump side piping 4. In this case, where the length of the pump side piping 4, pressure propagation route length in the common rail 2, and the length of the injection valve side piping 5 to 5'' are assumed as Lp, Lc, and Li, respectively, the relation among them is set so that the following equations are satisfied. Namely, equation: (2n+0.5) Lp<=1c<=(2n+1.5)Lp, (2n+1.5)Lp<=Li<=(2n+2.5)Lp, and (n=0, 1, 2,...). Thus a variation in propagation pressure and dispersion of demand side pressure can be reduced.</p> |
