A shelf display is provided with at least two lateral uprights and at least one shelf which extends between them. The uprights and shelves are designed as separate components, and the shelves can be connected to the uprights at different heights. The shelves are of adjustable width, so that the display can be adjusted in all kinds of ways, and in this way the space available in the display can be used optimally.
