PURPOSE:To keep out a metallic taste while preventing wires from becoming frayed and to keep the deposits of tea and fur from adhering. CONSTITUTION:A tea strainer net 8 removably mounted in a teapot has a cover layer 11 of a fluororesin covering the surface of a tea strainer net main body 10 made by interwoven wires 9; therefore, even if the tea strainer main body 10 is made of metal, a metallic taste can be kept out. The crossing wires 9 are bonded together by the cover layer 11 and can therefore be prevented from being frayed, while an elastic force is enhanced, along with durability. The coefficient of friction of the surface of the cover layer 11 of fluororesin is so small that the deposits of tea and fur do not adhere to the surface and are easy to strip off even when adhering to the surface. |
