<p>Polyurethane soln. for yarn, film elastomer, foam mfr. Soln. is made by reacting NCO-terminated prepolymer with organic diamine and hydrazide of pyridine-carboxylic acid (pref. in 99:1 to 90:10 ratio) at -10 to 120 degrees C in polar organic solvent as medium. Prepolymer is obtained by reacting active H-terminated bifunctional polymer, mol. wt. 500-5000 (pref. polyether, polyester or polylactone) with excess organic diisocyanate. This soln. gives products with superior light-fastness, even after repeated washing.</p> |
