The subject of the invention is compounds having the peptide sequence X Leu Y in which X represents H or Ala Y represents OH or Ser, with the proviso that X and Y do not simultaneously represent H and OH, respectively as well as the corresponding compounds in which the peptide bond is replaced by a bond resistant to the enzymatic degradation of proteases or in which the peptide backbone contains one or more intercalated groups which make the peptide bond resistant to enzymatic degradation, as well as the diagnostic and therapeutic applications of these compounds.
