Articulated fitting of a motor vehicle bodywork element (2), in which a hinge (5) consisting of two hinge knuckles (6, 7) secured to a hinge pin (10) is rigidly connected via the said knuckles (6, 7) respectively to this element (2) of the bodywork and to an element (4) of the structure of the vehicle, characterised in that each hinge knuckle (6, 7) has a slot (15, 16) in which to immobilise a stub (17, 18) borne by an antifriction washer (11) mounted on the said hinge pin and in that the said stub (17, 18) has less resistance to shear following relative displacement of the said hinge knuckles towards an abutting position. <IMAGE> |
