<p>This application relates to antibodies directed against the IL-6 receptor and hybridomas capable of producing such antibodies. In some embodiments of the invention, these antibodies are used to inhibit the binding of IL-6 to an IL-6 receptor. In other embodiments, the antibodies are used to inhibit the proliferation of IL-6 dependent cells. Finally, a kit for the inhibition of IL-6 dependent proliferation is disclosed.</p> |
