摘要 In known chassis for rail vehicles the maximum outer dimensions which are bounded by the clearance line and the track-guided nature of the vehicle are reached. The new arrangement is intended to permit substantially longer chassis to be manufactured for rail vehicles with little outlay and without the clearance line and the maximum axle spacing which is acceptable for triggering switching processes by means of track switching devices being exceeded and/or the track being excessively stressed. So that the universal application of the complex chassis for rail vehicles is not restricted, a supporting device and a lifting device (13) are arranged between the frame of an additional chassis (8) and the frame of a partial chassis (4) or the chassis. In conjunction with a hydropneumatic spring element which is integrated into the support (10) of the supporting device a uniform load distribution onto the rail is always obtained when the track (1) is travelled over. The arrangement permits chassis for rail vehicles to be made longer while complying with the restrictive regulations for rail vehicles. <IMAGE>
