The invention relates to an electronics and instrumentation housing for electronic and electrical device installations, particularly for measuring and control devices, with a housing bottom (1'), a frame (2') and a cover (3'), the housing bottom having mounting points (4') for components to be attached between housing bottom and frame. To be able to achieve a variety of component installations, the frame (2') has mounting means (11') for mounting two carrier plates (7' and 10'), suitable for mounting components, on the frame on both sides of the frame, so that one carrier plate (7') is located on the side of the frame facing the cover (3') and the other carrier plate (10') is located on the side of the frame facing the housing bottom (1'). The frame (2') is preferably adjoined by a hinged cover (3') which is constructed in such a manner that it completely covers the frame including the screws (5') which attach the frame to the housing bottom (1').
