A luggage carrier for a two-wheeled vehicle, in particular a bicycle, comprises a supporting frame 4 which is connected above the rear or front wheel approximately horizontally to front stays 10 and rear stays 13. The invention proposes a supporting frame 4 which is configured in such a manner that its design can be varied with little effort, allowing its area of support to be increased and also allowing the function of the luggage carrier to be expanded by the connection of various add-on parts to the supporting frame 4. The area of support is increased by displacing 7f a hoop 6 which is connected displaceably to the rear supporting-frame end 8 and can be secured in its position by clamping. The ends of one of the add-on parts 17 are designed as connecting elements via which the add-on part can be connected to supporting-frame elements 7, 8 which run transversely with respect to the longitudinal direction of the supporting frame 4, lie opposite each other and have a plurality of connection openings 15. This add-on part 17 is, moreover, designed in a manner such that depending on its position with respect to the supporting frame 4 it permits a lateral bearing or resting area, or in another arrangement a horizontal or vertical expansion of the supporting frame 4, and is fastened securely by virtue of a defined position with respect to the supporting frame 4.
