Special despatch envelope

The special despatch envelope reported here as a new invention is based on commercial envelopes with an address window, but has, as a completely new invention, an open franking window, primarily in the officially prescribed area, so that the stamp stuck to the document posted (e.g. first day cover) can be franked officially. The envelope protects the first day cover from damage, soiling and theft.
