An optical disk recording device such that the time required for checking data is reduced, and any extra head optical system is not needed. By detecting the disturbance of signal resulting from reflected light from an optical disk while signals are recorded on the optical disk, whether or not the signals are properly recorded on the optical disk can be judged while the signals are being recorded on the disk.
