The object of the invention is an ice drill, which includes a shaft tube 1 on whose lower end cutters 2, 3 are attached above each other, the upper cutter 3 of which extends in the radial direction farther out from the shaft 2, and the cutter 3 has two cutting blades 4, 5 one blade 5 of which is primarily vertical and a lifting coil 6 for ice attached to the shaft 2. With present ice drills openings in ice cannot be performed safely and quickly.
