The invention relates to a pneumatic spring-damper unit with electromagnetically controllable overflow valves, the closing members of which are formed by valve spring laminae via which the magnetic flux runs. Smooth opening or closing of the overflow valves is made possible by superimposing a controllable direct current, loading the electromagnet, with an alternating current and/or by grooving the bearing surfaces, interacting with the valve spring lamina, or the surfaces of the valve spring lamina.
