According to the present invention, a solid roadway for rail vehicles is provided which meets the more exacting requirements regarding protection against vibrations produced by the rail traffic and which consists essentially of an asphalt supporting layer with the track skeleton mounted directly thereon, a resilient mat being situated between the asphalt supporting layer and the substructure.
