TORQUE ADJUSTER FOR HELICAL SPRING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To easily adjust the torque of a helical spring only by pushing and swinging a shaft and engaging projections in recesses and utilize the force of the helical spring to engage the projections in the recesses. CONSTITUTION:A casket 3 located around a shaft 1 is rotatably supported on a bearing 2 through which the shaft 1 is rotatably and slidably inserted. A plurality of recesses 5 are provided on the shaft 1 so that the projections 6 can be engaged in the recesses perpendicularly to the axis of the shaft 1. An end of the helical spring 4 is fixed on the casket 3 and the shaft 1 so that the helical spring 4 obliquely extends in the caskt 3. A force is applied to the shaft 1 by the helical spring 4 in a direction to engage the projections 6 in the recesses 5.
