A portable radial milling machine, provided with a cylindrical milling head having a plurality of exchangeable radial cutters, by which disc-shaped workpieces, primarily within the heavy metal industry, are given a specific edge-rounding radius. The milling head 4 is attached to the motor shaft 5 with a fastening device 6, in which the position of the milling head 4 and hence the position for the centre of radius of the cutters 13 in the lateral direction can be predetermined by the use of a predefined number of spacers 17 beneath the milling head 4, and in which the support surfaces against the workpiece are configured as roller tables 7 and 8, rotatably secured to the milling head 12, which are raisable and lowerable relative to the motor shaft 5. <IMAGE>
