The invention relates to a tent for supply companies, which comprises a tent framework, constructed from a plurality of interconnected rods, and a tent covering. The object of the invention is to provide a relatively lightweight, but nevertheless very stable tent which has a large amount of space and can be readily set up by one person. The invention consists in that there is provided, for the tent framework, a ridge component which is formed by an elongate body which terminates, at its two ends, in in each case one pair of flat profile strips which are oriented obliquely outwardly and downwardly at an obtuse angle and on which there is fitted in each case one rod, on which a further rod is fitted such that it is oriented downwards at an obtuse angle. Such a tent framework is of relatively low weight, but is nevertheless very stable and has a large amount of space in its interior, it can be easily set up and dismantled again by one person, and it takes up little space in the dismantled state and can thus be easily transported.
