The device is characterized in that it comprises at least one pair of drive wheels (9a); drive means (11, 12, 13) for rotating at least one of the wheels (9a); means (10) for closing said pair of wheels (9a) onto the rod (3) to be removed. Said means (10) press the wheels (9a) against the rod (3) to be removed while allowing radial shifting of the wheels (9a) in relation to the axis of removal, the wheels (9a) thereby matching the deformed portions of the rod.</p> |
