PURPOSE:To prevent lead wires of a tiltable waterproof illuminator from damaging by providing only one movable shade direction controller at the illuminator to thereby reduce the waterproof portions so as to restrict the bending degree of the lead wires. CONSTITUTION:A semispherical projection 2 is provided at the center of the circular base 13 of a mounting flange 1 for a tiltable waterproof illuminator and formed with a long slit 3. There are provided a truncated recess 5 formed at the intermediate of a shade 4 of cylindrical shape with a bottom for containing a socket 9 and a lamp 16, a hole for passing a connecting cylinder 7 at the bottom surface of the recess 5, and a ring packing 8 adhered onto the peripheral wall of the recess 5. A semispherical slide 6 is integrally formed with the cylinder 7 to make contact with the inner surface of the projection 2. Lead wires 10 introduced from the socket 9 are connected through the cylinder 7 into the flange 1 to power a supply. The shade 4 is controlled in its direction integrally with the cylinder 7 and the slide 6 within the range of the long slide 3. |
