<p>PURPOSE:To reduce code errors owing to the effect of low frequency range cutoff in the recording-reproducing system by providing a pulse train generator which generates pseudo-random pattern pulses having known pulse patterns. CONSTITUTION:The pseudo-random pattern pulse train signal from an M system generator 3 is directly led to an exclusive-OR circuit 8 via switch SW1. This pulse train signal which has been inverted by being applied to an inverter, i.e., inversion gate 6, is led to an exclusive-OR circuit 9 via switch SW2. Further the pulse train signal from the generator 3 having been delayed by n-bits, e.g., 10 bits, by being applied to an n-bit shift register 4 is led to an exclusive-OR circuit 10 via switch SW3. Since in this way the pseudo-random pattern pulse train signals having no correlations at all may be obtained, such signals are deformed by Modulo 2 addition and are led together to a continuous number judgement circuit 5.</p> |
