PURPOSE:To obtain a product more excellent in decorative effect by the proper effect of stereoscopic view by providing fine nonlinear through holes with smooth inner wall in organic glass. CONSTITUTION:The string which is unadhesive to raw resin and inert to resin is inserted into a frame in nonlinear or linear state, considering the slack and shrinkage occurring at heat polymerization, and its both ends are fixed to the frame, and then liquid organic glass material is injected into the frame. After said material has been polymerized and cured at the temperature higher than the temperature where the heat expansion and contraction of the string being, the molding is taken out from the frame, and the string is drawn out therefrom, thereby obtaining the product. The inner wall of the thin hole 2 thus obtained is almost smooth even when it is left as it is, and does not scatter the light irradiating the interface and reflects the light totally. The inner surface of the thin hole may be color-treated, if it is necessary. Accordingly, the product may be useful as not only new material for shading or the window glass with one direction transparency, but also the decorative material containing a decorative signboard or a display, etc. by the proper effect of stereoscopic view. |
