The dictionary system of sound codes for musical instruments and its coding method makes musical performance easily. This system comprises; a main processor unit, a displayer that indicates fingering, code name and phrase number; a displaying driver; a functional switches; a decorder; three memory units to restore the data; MIDI I/O terminals; a MIDI buffer; and an optical coupler to connect the input MIDI data to the MIDI buffer.
