Bottom hole flow bean adjustable by a pressure pulse

A ball check valve closes at the top of a hollow piston in a flow bean in response to a pressure puls from the surface. The piston is moved axially downward and a cross pin and inclined slot connection indexes a ratchet controlling an apertured disc so that a different size aperture is brought into coincidence with an offset flow port in the lower end of the bean.
