A plate to be fitted with electronic components for insertion into the casing of an electronic device has a core of two spaced metal plates joined together by metal stiffening pins having a Cu-invar layer and a coating consisting of several layers of polyimide foil. To obtain great rigidity and good heat dissipation, the metal plates are made of Al or Al alloy and secured in casings by a cotter.
