PURPOSE:To secure connection between a handset and a base unit in the minimum time by making the base unit scan a channel delayed by a channel compared with the handset in a queuing mode. CONSTITUTION:Both a handset 1 and a base unit 2 are set in a queuing mode when a call mode is through and the scan is started at and after the channel following that so far used for talking. However, the unit 2 starts its scan with a delay given from a timer by a scan time equivalent to a single channel compared with the handset 1. As a result, the unit 2 is set at the 2nd channel when the handset 1 is set at the 3rd channel. That is, the unit 2 always performs scan with a delay secured by a single channel compared with the scan of the handset 1. Thus, the channel through which the handset 1 transmitted an identification code can be connected to the unit 2 in the minimum time after a scan time equivalent to a single channel. |
