<p>PURPOSE:To keep an input power factor always at 1 by providing cycloconverters controlling an intensity of electric current supplied from an AC power supply so that a peak value of voltage applied to a high-frequency phase-advancing capacitor becomes almost constant. CONSTITUTION:Input side terminals of cycloconverter groups CC-A and CC-B are respectively connected with a high-frequency phase-advancing capacitor CAP via insulating transformers TrA, TrB and output side terminals thereof with three-phase AC feeders LA and LB. The AC feeders LA, LB are connected with a section SEC via three-phase switch SW controlled according to the position of a running body VH. Also, a cycloconverter CC-Z controls an electric current supplied from an AC power supply SUP so that the frequency and phase of a voltage of the high-frequency phase-advancing capacitor CAP coincide with those of reference voltages ea-ec.</p> |
