PURPOSE:To match an open angle of the telephone set with a distance between an ear and a mouth different from persons by folding the telephone set to make the size of the telephone set small when the telephone set is not in use and by opening the telephone set when the telephone set is talking. CONSTITUTION:The telephone set is provided with a 1st main body 1 acting as a grip on talking and having at least an operation section 4, a radio section 5, a display section 7 and a transmission section 8 and 2nd main body sections 2, 2a linked to the 1st main body section 1 via a hinge section 10 freely and having a reception section 9. An opening/closing hold section 12 provided to the hinge section 10 holds an optional open/close angle of the 2nd main body section 2 with respect to the 1st main body section 1.
