PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device prevented from returning to the initial state while setting an original, thereby, dispensing with the reinputting while setting the original, by constituting the image forming device so as to prevented from returning to the initial state and stopping the timer for the time of detecting the original. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device is provided with an image forming means for forming image a medium on which an image is to be formed, corresponding to the original in the image reading position, a changing means for changing the image forming condition by the image forming means from the initial state, a returning means for returning the image forming condition changed by the changing means to the initial state corresponding to the lapse of a specified time, an original detecting means 9 for detecting the presence or absence of the original in the image reading position, and an inhibition means for preventing the returning means from returning the image forming condition to the initial to the initial state corresponding to the detecting signal of the presence of the original from the original detecting means 9. |
