PURPOSE:To reversely reproduce moving images with the less capacity of a display memory by providing storage capacity just for pictures corresponding to the types of pictures, successively storing the pictures sent from an adding part, reading the pictures according to the order and sending them to a display device. CONSTITUTION:When the type of a picture sent to an adding part 167 is a P picture, for example, since it is the picture depending on an I picture or the P picture positioned before it, the adding part 167 conducts addition processing by using the I picture or P picture previously stored in a motion correction part 165 and after motion correction is performed, the picture is outputted to a display buffer 169 and the motion correction part 165. Thus, since the pictures sent to the display buffer 169 are sent to the display device in a latter step in a fixed order, they are displayed in the proper picture order as expressed in time reference information. |
