<p>PURPOSE:To provide a cell inverse transformation device in which quick fault restoration can be attained without requiring any complicated firmware processing related with operation monitor from the outside or the like. CONSTITUTION:The overflow of a fluctuation absorption buffer memory 2 and the underflow of a dual port memory 4 for speed conversion are detected by memory managing circuits 8 and 9, and communicated to an error monitoring circuit 11. The error monitoring circuit 11 automatically initializes the cell inverse transformation device based on the communication, and issues a reset instruction to a register circuit 10. The register circuit 10 operates self-reset based on the reset instruction while holding information necessary for start such as VCI, fluctuation absorbing time T, and window size W or the like or past error information. After the reset, a sequence control circuit 6 starts an operation by itself based on the held information without depending on an outside CPU or the like.</p> |
