PURPOSE:To make no need of replacing batteries of a running condition detecting apparatus which detects the rotation of wheels of a running body and detects the running condition. CONSTITUTION:When a bicycle starts running and a magnet 14 attached to the front wheel rotates, current flows in a rotation detecting coil 19 due to electromagnetic induction and the rotation is detected by a detecting circuit 20 and at the same time prescribed computing process is carried out for the detected rotation of the wheel by a CPU 22 to compute the running condition and the results are displayed on a displaying circuit 26. Simultaneously with that, the current flowing in the rotation detecting coil 19 is used to charge a charging type battery 24 by a charging circuit 23. Since the charged charging type battery 24 supplied electric power to the detecting circuit 20, the CPU 22, the displaying circuit 26, the charging circuit 23, etc., through an electric power source circuit 25, it is no need to replace batteries and no lack of battery power occurs. |
