PURPOSE:To provide a image forming device capable of smoothly starting a driving system without being accompanied with the loss of synchronism. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device is provided with an exposure scanning means for exposing and scanning an original, an image forming means for forming the image of the original exposed by the exposure scanning means on an image carrier, the pulse motor 50 for driving the exposure scanning means, the storage means 23 for storing the first pulse data for driving the pulse motor 50 by single-phase energizing and the second pulse data for driving the pulse data by the single/double phase energizing, and the driving control means 20 for controlling so as to drive the pulse motor 50 by reading out the second pulse data from the storage means 23, after driving the pulse motor by reading out the first pulse data from the storage means 23 at the time of starting the exposure scanning means. Thus, the the driving system using the pulse motor 50 can be smoothly started without being companied with the loss of synchronism. |
