发明名称 ARITHMETIC CIRCUIT FOR IMAGE PROCESSING
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the arithmetic circuit for image processing which is simplified in circuit constitution and performs highly precise arithmetic operation by using a multi-valued digital theory by an analog circuit. CONSTITUTION:A voltage corresponding to density data on a pixel which are inputted from an input terminal PIN in series is applied to one-terminal sides of capacitors C1-C9, whose other-terminal sides are put together, and is applied to the gate of an MOS transitor(TR). Then a reference voltage V is applied to the drain of this MOS TR, the source is grounded through a resist or, and a voltage corresponding to the sum of density data on all pixels is outputted from the connection point POUT between the resistor and source. Consequently, the circuit constitution can be simplified as compared with a conventional digital circuit, the number of TRs in use can be decreased, and the high-performance circuit can be actualized without increasing the degree of integration, thereby suppressing large cost for facility investment due to the high integration of an LSI.
