PURPOSE:To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor base substance which is excellent in dimensional accuracy even in the case of small diameter, and can be attached in the state where rotary deflection is small, and can obtain excellent picture quality by forming a base substance into a column without a hollow inside. CONSTITUTION:The A end face 2 and B end face 3 of a column-shaped base substance 1 are severally provided with supporting holes 4, 5 at each center of the end face, and the A end face is provided with a driving hole 6 at a position away from the supporting hole 4. For instance, in concrete terms, aluminum alloy material 6063 is used, and the end face 2 of the column being 30mm in diameter and 300mm in length is provided with the conical supporting holes 4, 5 and the column-shaped driving hole 6 to form the base substance 1. A photosensitive body using such a base body is attached to a device through the supporting holes 4, 5, and in forming an image, rotary driving force to rotate the driving hole 6 centering around the supporting hole 4 is given from the side of the device on the side of the end face 2 having the driving hole 6 for rotating the driving hole 6. Both the roundness and straightness of the column are set up to 0.05mm or less. Thus the fixed roundness and straightness can be secured even in the case of the photoreceptor base substance of about 40mm or less in outside diameter to reduce rotary deflection. |
