PURPOSE:To provide a 2X2 optical fiber circuit switch which does not require auxiliary drawing around of optical fibers. CONSTITUTION:A holding member 31 of the moving optical fiber 3 mounted with a permanent magnet 31 is seesawed around a fulcrum 33 by the magnetic field of an electromagnet 30. As a result, the moving optical fiber 3 moves on nearly an arc locus between a position where the fiber aligns to the optical fiber 1 in an aligning member 50 and a position where the fiber aligns to the optical fiber 2. The moving optical fiber 4 is also moved on another locus in a backward direction by the similar mechanism and, therefore, the moving optical fibers 3, 4 exchange the mutual positions. As a result, the optical connecting states of the optical fibers 1, 2 are changed over. |
