PURPOSE:To provide an optical connection closure which enables a line to easily be connected and switched without directly touching a coated optical fibers. CONSTITUTION:While multifiber ferrule assemblies 17a'-17' constituted by assembling plural multifiber ferrules 13aa-13dn are incorporated and multifiber batch connection connectors 11a-11d formed so that they can be connected to the batch connection connectors 17a' and 17c' of optical cables 17a-17c freely internally and externally are mounted on the outside opposite side of a casing 10, the mutually opposite sides of the multifiber batch connection connectors 10a-11d are connected to optical multifiber ferrules l3aa-13dn in the casing 10 individually and optically by plural coated optical fibers and a protection cover covering a group of ends of switching operation rods 25a-25n, which perform the multifiber batch switching of the coated optical fiber group, together is fitted detachably outside the casing 10.
