PURPOSE:To speed up the phase difference calculation with a simple circuit by obtaining the phase error between the in-phase component and the orthogonal component by using a memory calculating and storing the phase difference data between a carrier wave and a reference wave. CONSTITUTION:A reception signal is demodulated by controlling the phase of a reproduction carrier wave according to the phase error between an in-phase components I and an orthogonal component Q which is synthesized and detected by a carrier wave reproduced from a PSK reception signal to be demodulated. In this case, the phase difference data phi between the carrier wave of a reception signal and the reference carrier wave in detecting the phase error is stored in a memory 35. Latching data I and Q are latched by latch circuits 27 and 28 and are inputted to the address of a corresponding memory 35. By accessing the memory 35, a phase error signal phi is obtained. Thus, the compact, high- speed processing circuit with less power consumption can be provided by using one memory instead of the logic IC. |
