PURPOSE:To form an oriented film which has a uniform film thickness and is free from film repelling by dissolving a polyamic acid into a solvent contg. at least a 3-methyl-3-methoxy butanol. CONSTITUTION:The 3-methyl-3-methoxy butanol is included in at least the solvent as the oriented film soln. Namely, the soln. prepd. by dissolving the polyamic acid synthesized by reaction of pyromellytic dianhydride and 4,4'- diaminodiphenyl ether into a solvent mixture composed of, for example, gamma- butyrolactone, N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP), 3-methyl-3-methoxy butanol is used as the oriented film soln. The polarity of the oriented film soln. is lowered and the surface energy of the oriented film soln. transferred from an oriented film soln. transfer plate to a substrate is lowered by adding the 3-methyl-3- methoxy butanol of the low surface energy to the oriented film soln. in such a manner, by which the liquid film is flattened. |
