The invention relates to a folder for cards and sheets, for example for photographic prints and negatives. Paper pouches protect prints and negatives from dirt but not from mechanical damage. The invention proposes overcoming this disadvantage. The folder comprises a front panel (1), two side panels (2, 3), a rear panel (5) and a closing bottom (4). On the upper rim of the rear panel there is added a flap having two or four sections which can close the opening of the compartment. The front panel of the latter has a cutout forming a tab (8) which, folded down towards the inside, makes it possible to wedge the photographic prints. This folder can be used in the field of amateur photography. <IMAGE>
