PURPOSE:To file each original corresponding to various conditions by rotating a picture at the time of image forming so that the filing position is set to an upper left position of a longitudinally long original and of a laterally long original respectively. CONSTITUTION:A system basic unit 2 connects to a basic unit 1. Through the constitution above, the edit processing such as rotation processing of a picture and synthesis processing for plural pictures is attained by using a page memory 23 storing tentatively picture data in addition to the copying function in the basic unit 1. Furthermore, a multi-value rotation memory 9 is used, which connects to a picture data I/F means 8 to rotate the picture data by 90 deg. or 180 deg. when a printer 15 outputs the picture data. Thus, the rotation function and the file function of the copy function are combined by the page memory 23 and an image is formed by having only to match the picture with the upper part of the original feeder to set the file position to the upper left position. |
