The compressor does not distort the input signal with over amplitude, and has an integrated circuit. It comprises a sum amplifier(22) which outputs voice signal, a rectifying circuit which inputs DC current, an active limiting circuit which inputs DC current of proportioonal voltage difference, a gain control circuit which controls the sum amplifier gain by control of voice signal, and an amplitude limit circuit which pretents the over modulated signal. The active limit circuit has transistors which compare DC voltage with limited voltage.
