Device for driving and operating various equipment producing a source of energy. The invention relates to a device making it possible to operate various items of equipment (pump, electric generator set, compressor, etc.) from a driven wheel of a motor vehicle. It consists of a frame (1), of an inclined access ramp (2) at the front, of a chassis (3), of two drive rollers (4) and of a supporting block (6) at the back. Fastened to each end of the two rollers (4) are two pulleys (5) driving belts (7) and creating movement for the shaft (8) which is fitted out with a take-off (9) for driving the equipment or tool which is fixed to the frame (1) and which it is desired to operate. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for operating various electric, pneumatic, hydraulic items of equipment or tools when normal conditions do not allow this. <IMAGE>
