<p>PURPOSE:To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which has excellent flow property, provides images of a high density and excellent fine-line reproducibility and highlight gradation, allows a good onset of charge even with a small charge-controller content, and therefore, provides stable images immediately after it has used, a method of manufacture of the toner. CONSTITUTION:In the electrostatic charge image developing toner having toner particles obtained by the polymerizaiton of a polymerizable monomer composition having at least a polymerizable monomer, the toner particles contain (i) a denatured polyester resin by 0.1 to 9.0wt.% with units of styrenic monomer, acrylic monomer or methacylic monomer; (ii) wax whose melting point is between 50 and 95 deg.C by 16 to 50wt.%; and (iii) a charge controller by 0.01 to 5.0wt.%, and, the resin component of the toner particles has weight-average molecular weight of 5000 to 45000 and the toner particles have a water absorption rate of 300 to 5000ppm.</p> |
