PURPOSE:To shorten processing time by successively performing a continuous processing by determining the first order processing value of vector data and performing a paint-out processing at the stage where an on-data pair is completed. CONSTITUTION:At first, a start location register 11 is cleared. This start location register 11 has a storage area corresponding to each scanning line and holds the x coordinate value of the first on-data of each scanning line. In the processing of a first straight line p1p2, on-data is stored in each storage cell of (5, 3), (5, 4), (4, 5), (3, 6) and (2, 7) and on-data is extended. As the first order data shown as a coordinate (5, 3) is the on-data of a scanning line 3 and the storage area 3 of the start location register 11 corresponding to this scanning line is a clear state, data '5' is stored in the storage area 3 of the corresponded start location register 11. Subsequently, the x coordinate value of each data value is stored in the pertinent area in the same way. |
